CMKG History
Much of the experience & knowledge on the CMKG team is driven by significant experience in P&G. CMKG's President, Sue Nicholls, obtained various skills while working on P&G's Canadian Category Management team for many years. Her experiences inspired her to create a vision for CMKG as well.
Michelle Patterson, the Director of Training and Development, brings to CMKG 12 years of experience in Sales, Market Strategy, Category Management and Corporate Training from Procter & Gamble. Michelle was responsible for designing and implementing category management strategies both within the P&G organization, as well as with leading retailers. Michelle also designed and delivered various category management training strategies across the organization. Michelle was a resident training expert for many years, responsible for Sales, Technical, and Category Management training in addition to “Train the Trainer” responsibility for the Canadian P&G organization.
CMKG started as a "live" category management training company seven years ago, working with suppliers and retailers that spanned China, Russia, South America, South Africa and North America. For the last three years, the focus has shifted to on-line training, through a combination of "live" and recorded webinars. CMKG's overall objective is to provide compelling, relevant, and accessible training to individuals, teams & organizations in all areas of the world.
