CMKG's accredited certification programs:

  1. Certified Associate in Category Management' (CACM):  an 11-module training program (either live webinars and/or eLearning modules) that provides a foundational understanding of category management.  
  2. 'Certified Specialist in Category Management' (CSCM)*:  an 11-module blend of webinars & e-learning training modules that help individuals develop their category management skillset to a more intermediate level. * accreditation process not yet complete for some modules - expected March 2010.

Length of each program:    Suggested 12-weeks  (30 to 40 hours to complete).

Cost of programs: 

  1. CACM: $1500 USD
  2. CSCM: $2000 USD

Included in cost of program: 

  1. Access to training modules through live webinars and CMKG's eLearning site;
  2. Testing through CMKG's eLearning site;
  3. Hardcopy Study Guide (includes student notes areas, training module overviews, reference documents, workshops and case study);
  4. Support through CMKG's knowledgeable support team; and
  5. Certification upon completion of program (which counts towards accreditation through the Category Management Association).
