Who is CMKG's target audience?

CMKG's training appeals to and targets individuals, teams & organizations in the following roles: 

  • Category Management Analysts / Category Managers will benefit from CMKG's foundational and intermediate training programs.  All programs and modules are relevant to category management roles.  The hands-on workshops and case study provide the foundation for all future category management work. 

  • Sales / Account Managers will benefit from CMKG's 'Certified Associate in Category Management'  program, if they are expected to sell to retailers / industries that have taken a category management approach.  At minimum, sales people should have a foundational understanding of category management, to add value to their customers.  Some organizations also choose to go with a customized modular program, based on the specific requirements of their sales organization.

  • Marketing will benefit from CMKG's 'Certified Associate in Category Management' so that they can better understand and anticipate retailer objections based on their unique retailer strategies and decision-making processes.  Once again, marketing may benefit from a customized modular program, based on the specific requirements of their marketing team.

  • Administration will benefit from the Excel & Powerpoint series if they are responsible for creating and/or editing charts / graphs / presentations in their role.
