What is the difference between "live" webinars and eLearning?

Short for Web-based seminar, a webinar is a lecture or seminar that is transmitted over the Web. A key feature of a Webinar is its interactive elements -- the ability to give, receive and communicate information. CMKG’s offers both "live" and recorded version of webinars.
  • In "live" webinars, participants sign up for training that happens "real time", and registration link that is sent to them prior to the webinar.  Participants are able to ask the instructor questions (through typing in text), and get answers in real time. The instructor can conduct polls and ask questions to engage the audience..
  •     In eLearning, participants view the identical content as in the "live" webinars, but on their own time, in CMKG's state-of-the-art eLearning library.  No matter where participants live, no matter what time of the day, they can view these recordings with a high- speed internet connection.  They can also spend as much, or as little, time in different modules as they want, and also have the option of going back and reviewng the training modules more than once.

CMKG's programs offer a blend of "live" webinar and eLearning options.  By providing both of these mediums, it offers flexibility to our students, based on their learning needs.
