It is hard to believe it’s already August! How time flies when you’re in a pandemic (um, sort of …).
So much has changed in our industry since 2020 - our shoppers, our categories, our retailers, our product supply chain, our brands, our data & analytics. Now is an important time for us to learn, think outside the box, challenge the status quo and find new and different solutions for our business to reflect these changes. This requires a broader understanding of shopper trends and changing behavior beyond brand and category, the omni-channel, how/where shoppers interact in the online space (even when purchasing in Brick & Mortar stores), advancing technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning and where they are headed, and so on.
At CMKG we continue to pivot to meet changing industry demands - examples include accredited course upgrades, new Sales and Shopper training programs, new administrator rights for clients, closed captioning added to all courses & videos, an app for offline learning, development of new courses, new & better assessments (for Category Management, Shopper Insights, Sales and Space Management), and the addition of instructor-led virtual training.
In today’s newsletter I’m sharing our most popular news items that have been shared this year, as well as details on some of the new capabilities available to you as a client and/or student.
We feel privileged to be working with each of you and are always looking for “what’s next”. If you have suggestions / feedback in our quest for continual improvement, please contact me at sue@cmkg.org and let’s start the discussion.
Happy learning!
Sue

Launched a new app for offline learning!
Planning to be offline on a plane, train, or automobile? As long as you’re not driving, there’s no better time to learn! Similar to Spotify or iTunes, you download a course onto your mobile device, complete the course, and then sync it when you’re back online. Just remember to delete it from your device once you’ve finished so it doesn’t use up your device’s storage as our courses usually have a large file size.
